Remain in control of your own money. Never, never, never go looking for that little white pill of happiness. Redundent? Perhaps but there are an awful lot of people out there willing to fork out their hard earned dollars in the hopes that someone else will make them rich.
Just a quick update---as of this date August 15th I still never received a contract to sign from the company mentioned in my posts. My money did stay in my bank so I believe the situation is closed. A word or two to the wise---do some research and your homework and always get a signed contract that both parties agree to. Then you are both covered. Best wishes to all.

Sounds to me like the company is a scam as is the case with most drop shippers. You need to be very careful with these as most of them are fakes.
Last note on this particular subject: final decision from my bank was in my favor and I kept my money. Please be careful in looking into these companies and listening to their sales pitch. They are pretty good at selling, maybe not delivering but selling. Always check companies out WELL! This was a difficult one for me but I stuck to my guns. I have never heard from these people and don't expect to. They are to busy going onto the next person to think to much about me. Never heard back from the BBB or the online NetCheck for web businesses either. Good learning lesson that I don't wish to repeat again. Good luck to you all.

i have gotton several calls from this getestore after i registered.it was from a so called specialist who wanted to conduct an interview.he kept insisting i will make 20000 a month,if not,something is wrong with me.towards the end of the interview,he wanted to know my credit limit.i thought this was odd,and would not tell him,he kept pushing harder and harder,got smart with me at one point and stated he has my credit card numbers.thats when i told him to f himself and that i had used a prepaid card,and hung up.he called me about a dozen times after that to tell me he was going to report me to the feds for my foul mouth,i blocked his calls and left him a voicemail stating his momma didn't mind it.these people are crooks,if you gave them your personal info.,i suggest you change your credit cards and pay for a credit alert.we all have to file complaints,here is the scam,the site we pay for is actually an outlet for them to take our orders,we will recieve nothing,ever.point blank!the paypal links are dead,the only live link on there is to direct people to thier site so they can sign up and get took,thats why that link is there,so poor sucker like us will think they can be a wholesaler too.his number and email are: [email protected] (435)487-9059 in salt lake city utah!please feel free to distrbute these all over the internet!
Hi folks, I have been scammed as well and feel like a complete fool. I have spent a considerable amount of money for optimization and submission services on top of the other time, effort, and money. Why don't we get together and get an attorney. We may be able to stop someone else from waisting their money.

Sorry that you are one of the "gotcha" group. Its very time consuming and costly to go after these people. Their all over; Arizonia, Utah, and California to name just a few places. Mine was out of Arizonia but all connected to GetEstore based in California. If someone would really want to go to the effort to start some sort of Class Action suite, you may get somewhere. I don't know that anyone would get any money back and I am not so sure you would close down these 'foul' feathered birds. In most cases they just barely operate under the fine wire of lawful. I think everyone just needs to do their homework as best they can and even then it's not an absolute that you will be safe. Just remember to keep good records, make sure you have a contract that is binding on their part and never agree to anything until you have it in writing. Happier trails to you.

I have been reading through all the posts here regarding Getestore, and I thought I'd give a different perspective. I also purchased a web store from them about a year ago. While some of the claims that people mentioned are in fact true about the customer service (ie. not returning emails, hard to get a hold of on the phone, etc.) I found that this was usually the case around the Christmas season when there is alot of shopping going on. I would assume that they are in over their head around that time of year. During the other times of the year, I usually have no problems with service, or products being out of stock. At least for the products I've sold thus far (ie. playstation systems, accessories, cell phones). I have not had one case where the products were charged to me and not shipped. I have had a couple cases where the products were no longer in stock by the time my auction ended, however that is understandable.
As for promoting the website, there is alot more to it than the typical person would imagine. Alot of the website promotional services out there plain do not work. I have been doing business on the internet since 1999 with my own website, and I have tried a good number of services out there to no avail. I found that even if a service provided me with traffic, it usually was not the right targeted traffic that resulted in sales. That is what I am thinking is happening with alot of the people who are trying to promote their Getestore website. As for my own hobby website, I had good targeted traffic, yet most were window shopping, and my average was one sale for every 100 visitors. Also, every so often I would get a fraudulent credit card sale. That is for the Hobby Market, and is different for every market based on pricing, ad layout, demand for particular brands, etc. I promoted my hobby website in google by making sure that my webpage was linked to, from a good number other websites of similar nature. I also made sure that all my metatags were correct and matched the content of each product page. As a result, after about a year my page was up to a Page Rank of 4, which is not high compared to some of the power house businesses, but definitely effective and resulted in an appreciable income.
My Getestore website on the other hand was not so easy to promote in the search engines since I did not have access to the code, only some of the metatags. I decided to hire a professional to try to figure out what to do. Here is what he found. Getestore websites are not very easily crawled in depth by the search engines because of the way the code is written. That means only the main page will be crawled by the search engine, but the deeper individual product pages will not be, or will have problems when they are crawled. Well this is a problem since the main page is so generic, and has a diverse amount of products. The search engines will not rank the main page very well because of this. If the search engines could get to the individual products pages then it would be better since the metatags associated with the products pages will be fewer and more related to the content on the page. Here is what is being done about this problem. The guy who is working on my website decided to create separate webpages independantly hosted from another server (not getestore), which has informative articles about specific products that I have on my getestore website. These article webpages have links which take the customer to my getestore website. Thus, targeted traffic. The reason why these webpages are able to be indexed well in the search engines is because they are custom tailored to be very search engine friendly, and targets a specific product. It has been about 4 months now since this work has been done, and I am now seeing results. It takes some time for a webpage to mature and get ranked higher in the search engines. And that's assuming that the webpage is properly made to be search engine friendly. Yes, I spent about $3000 so far with this professional, but the amount of work he has done makes it justifiable.
I am writing this long winded message to give a better understanding of why some people are not getting the results that they are looking for. I guess the bottom line is, unless you are a professional internet marketer, you will have to invest some money in the right direction before you can realize some cash flow. Consumer electronics is a very competitive market on the internet, and unless you can penetrate that market, you will not see any appreciable results.

I have had my getestore since November last year, looks very nice. not making a lot of sales, I have sold 2 stores and received a check for $34 and last month I made over $800 selling the Nintendo wii and I have not received my check yet and on one of my sales where the wii was already shipped to the customer they then issued a chargeback and it comes out my account, not fair (I spent over $700 on a shopping site to sell my wii's and if I dont receive my check I have just lost this for nothing)

I have a different experience. Things are moving slowly I think it is because the people who visit web stores have bad experiences in the past. They use to buy things from big webstores like Amazon, because it "looks" safe.
When I talked with my customers the first question they ask me is if the buying process will be safe in matters of all this issues of stole identities through credit cards. Right now 60-100 persons visit my e-store DAILY but in a regular month only 8-12 people make purchases.
Regarding the Customer Service they are great for me. If a have any question I contact them inmediately by phone, because the email address they have is a little bit slow sometimes I get answers quickly, some times it takes 4 days to get back an answer. But the girls in Customer service are very nice with me. I have receive all my commision checks on-time and without any discrepancy.
For me this is a part time job and a hobby. I really enjoy my e-store and since last October I make about $2,000.00 I only spent 50.00 to get the store. So I think it is working. I wish I would have more time to work with my e-store. But right now it is okay. I know that I need more time so the people can see my store consistely so they can trust more in me and start to make more purchases. Also I treat my customers very good so they can spread good words about my products and service.
I really think this is a good idea. I have no employees, no inventory, I don't have to pay a local rent etc.. But every busisness no matter of what requires time and effort ..sometimes for months.. before you can see the results...

Hi, I posted a few weeks ago saying that I have been waiting for my monthly check ($818), I have finally got it 60 days after which means you get paid 2 months behind, I think this is to protect the company as there is a lot of fraudulant credit cards and charebacks in the US. I have restarted to promote my store and products on shopping comparison sites again, I hope this continues!! :)
