The design isn't bad but I would change the font colors. The orange, even on the plain background, could be difficult for some people to read. And when you add it to a graphic background it is easy to miss. Maybe put a little more information on the front page to draw people in.
BTW I should find out your rates. I'm getting married 10/20 and was thinking about using a limo instead of driving around. ;)

Here's a quick little tip to build inbound links....
Open a google adwords account and spend $100 on ads... when google displays your ad on a website of a google publisher (website that caries google ads) and the googlebot crawls that site, it thinks it's an actual link back to your website.
I've done this before, it works.

Get lots of backlinks and unique and original content to your site.
More backlinks and more content will get you more traffic. The quality of the links to your site also matters. (e.g. Do they come from a related website with a high pagerank, or not?).

I visited your site and like the look and layout of it. In regards to getting more traffic to your site have you thought about writing articles and submitting them to parenting websites and blogs.
A lot of sites encourage guest articles (gives the owner a break from writing and always having to come up with new ideas to write about). If you do a google search for parenting blog "submit article" or parenting blog "write for us" (I just did and it came up with plenty) you can get in touch with these site owners and write an article for them.
Discuss with them how many links you're allowed in either the body or a resource box at the end of the article, and if it gets published on a popular parenting site you can get yourself lots of traffic and visitors, plus a backlink or two.
