Wow , it sounds as if the place you received most of the training really had a grasp on introducing you to real world situations. That is definitely a great story. I think more and more today people are coming around to understanding that many of the younger techs really have it together and can do an amazing job - that you don't have to work with a huge firm or pay over a certain amount of money to get good, quality, outside technical support or services. And if you enjoy doing this, and have the skills and abilities, really, why not start on your own consulting. It makes sense to.

Well I would like business to get better. I have some steady customers that i do maintenace for, and i get alot of calls for estimates from other potential customers. Who turn me down alot of times because my age. I try to act as a lowly employee but they always want the final estimate from the owner or supervisor. They always have this look when i tell them your looking at him. And for some reason or another i dont get the job probably because of my age. I would like to do consulting also, but i would like to get settled first doing what i am doing.

You'll grow outta that ;) I know that's not much help now though.
