Revising site - Looking for feedback on how to improve it
We are revising our software product site and looking for opinions about it. We would like to get some feedback before we go much further with the design and layout. We are targeting small business owners and managers.
Any and all comments welcome.

I go to a web site for:
1. Information
2. A solution
I don't go for verbiage, clever repartee or the opportunity to read an entire page of text. I don't have the time.
If you're selling Goldmine Software put it right out front, don't make me look for it because I won't.
Roban,
I think you might be mistaken in our intention.
We are not selling GoldMine Software, we are selling an add-on to it that provides a complete business management tool within that software.
My questions, to you, would be this:
1) If you are looking for information, on a site you have never been to, how do you know you are on the right site for that information?
2) If you are looking for a solution, how do you determine if what is offered on the site is the right solution for you?
3) Do you make purchasing decisions without reading any information (text) about the "solution" you have found on a site?
Just wondering, as we are trying to balance two schools of thought here.
We need to provide enough information to engage the prospect but not overwhelm them with too much. At the same time, it needs to be enough to allow for an informed decision about whether to proceed with further investigation of the "solution".
Where does that balance come?
Thanks again for your comments.
David
Thank you for the feedback
JP,
Other than the opening line you referenced, is there anything you might recommend that could improve on the site?
I am looking for some additional feedback,as well, if you willing:
1) Is it easy to find information?
2) Does the navigation flow logically, well, and naturally?
3) Does the site content induce you to contact us or ???
Any and all suggestions are welcome.
Thank you in advance.
David
