I am having a bit of a problem. When I receive my product images from my various companies and try to adjust the size on my mac in preview to either larger or smaller for a pop up or thumbnail it becomes blurry. Do I need a different software. I would like to be able to adjust the image and keep the quality. I see a lot of other websites and both the thumnail and the enlarge view( some very big, which is a nice closeup) are crystal clear.

You need to upload images that are about 400px wide. The cscart will create the thumbnails for you. If you try to enlarge a small image it will blur. It is best to make a large image smaller. The images you have been uploading are too large.
Okay. Have you checked my the goggles category? The sizes are fine, correct? I adjusted those last night. What do you mean they will create a thumbnail for me. When i go to create new product there are two place for me to enter an image the thumbnail on the left and the pop-up on the right. Don't I have to enter an image in both? I have been doing that with no issues.
What size are the original images that you get from your distributor? Remember that you cannot make these any larger, only smaller.
Most of the shopping cart systems allow you to specify the size you want the images to be and automatically resize the large image and thumbnail when you upload the original image. At least this is the case with my current shopping cart.
