On my personal site, I'm getting my products and SEO updated, as well as concentrating on my next newsletter. I am also wrestling with what the monthly specials will be for the rest of the year. I tried the Free Shipping on all orders last December and it was a bomb....we got the sales but ended up losing money.
I'm going to Australia LOL. That's how I'm preparing for the holiday season. I'm going to wait until it gets cold here, and go someplace where it isn't. And depending upon who wins the presidential election, I may not return LOL
That's some awfully extreme prep work. I guess the zoo didn't have the 'down under' marsupials to quench your thirst?
as you know, I've been looking for a getaway, and I think I've finally settled on one. I have a friend near Melbourne, I'm going to go visit her. Never been to Oz, so this'll be a real getaway.
Lucky you. Im jumping in a truck with a husband and 2 kids and driving 13 hours to ottawa, next month. Sooooo looking forward to my own vacation. *sigh* not nearly as exciting as Melbourne though. :(
Depends, Vang. I've never been to Canada and I've never been to Australia. I'm positively a rabid hockey fan so I might enjoy a trip up there just as much as anywhere else, if not more.
Canada does sound intriguing. Please tell me that hockey games/fans there are like soccer games/fans in Europe.
A little less violent perhaps. I don't recall any stories of hockey fans being trampled or beaten to death. Of course, certain Stanley Cup victories have unleashed havoc on their cities.
