Shop-Script cart or ....
Right now I'm using the Godaddy cart. It is way too rigid in that the templates don't allow the changes I need (like bigger photos). I also need to adjust how shipping is computed based on distance. I need a cart that is easy to adjust inventory. I have been looking at the Shop-Script software and it looks like it does everything I need in addition to the fact that it should work with the WYSIWYG web site builder. Does anyone have any experience with Shop-Script or can you recommend something else in that $300 price range? We sell about 15 varieties of cut roses in combinations that can be fixed so we would have about 50 products. Thanks.

Hello mirose,
Currently our liftetime license cost 500$, if you interested you can pay only if satisfied. I mean we install the shopping cart on your GoDaddy server (free of charge), and you can try it for one month.
Have a nice day...

You may have a look at our SunnyScript site. Perhaps SunnyShop is suited for your needs. It's a small shopping cart application developed in Perl, easy to set up.
However it is not the right choice if you are going on to manage thousands of products (50 are okay :-).
Alternatively have a look at sites like http://www.hotscripts.com or http://cgi.resourceindex.com - they provide great software resources.
An other alternative would be a hosted solution, many out there. You could check out http://www.king-cart.com for which I got some positive reports from clients.
