Lead generation?

I am starting a consulting business, and I am looking into ways to generate customers/leads. A former colleague told me about this place: ProcureAPro.com. Has anyone used it? Are these types of places a good way to generate business?

No. I strongly advise you to:

i. Not use recommendations on where to spend your money without knowing who these people are, or why you should trust them. There are a couple of sites for getting good coders effectively, but that's all.

ii. Instead, use trusted networks. The biggest that I know of and like is ecademy.com - there are others (including the one I belong to - but it may be too small yet for this function).
