Have you been scammed by getestore?
Is there anyone out there with an issue relating to getestore scams?
Here is my experience with them...
I purchased and set up my getestore store in April. I spent about 2 weeks getting it ready to launch (changing prices, researching, etc.) Excitedly I did a "test buy" of an inexpensive makeup kit to see how fast it would ship and if the quality was as getestore described it to be. (I did the test buy to make sure the items were okay before I offered them for sale to anyone else). Let me tell you that I was totally shocked at what I recieved in the mail!!!! It came in a reasonable amount of time, but the merchandise was totally UN-USABLE! First, the package had clearly been opened and was scotchtaped back shut. On the outside was a price sticker from another retailer that proclaimed it's price to be about $7 cheaper than what I intended to sell it for on the site. It was obviously a liquidation or something. But, that's not the worst thing.... Part of it was missing! There were supposed to be 3 tubes of makeup inside. There was only one (with 2 empty spaces where the tubes belonged)!!! This was worse than a flea market throw away!!! I have NEVER purchased anything so bad before. It was total garbage. No one would want it and no one could use it. So, I tried getting in touch by email. No response. I emailed again, and again, and again. No reply. So I got their phone number from my credit card information. (Possibly a number only used for their own purposes, like getting paid). When I called it, they picked up right away. (I assume now they they thought it was a business call, since I called from work). Anyway, they denied everything, including giving my money back for the site. They tried to say the package was damaged during shipping... No way!!! Not even close. Then they said that if the item's description doesn't say that it's NEW then its not New and for me to re-read the agreement. I have been scammed. No doubt about it! How many others are out there with this gripe for getestore? What can be done?
