If you could have lunch with an expert on Effect Low Cost Marketing Strageties what would you ask?
Is automated web linking or URL submission possible? Is it a long-term idea? What are its advantages and disadvantages? How do you set it up?

I'd ask him why he's spamming my forum.
Id say no but thanks for asking
I didn't mean you, I meant a low cost marketing expert. That's often one of the tactics they employ
oh sorry no i have one on my radio show monday
Well I thought you were looking for questions to ask such a person. One of them that pops into my head right off is why do they spam forums? The posts they make are never there for more than a few minutes and with the 1st post to 1 of our forums, I either ban their IP on the remaining 29 or I censor their domain name so that they post dead links full of asterisks like *****.com.
And if they're persistent, I report them to their ISPs as well.
Why don't we look at the positive sides of this expert JPnyc. They're experts so maybe it's easy to just tell them not to post any ads at places in the forums which do not allow it. Is it always the case -- I mean they spam forums? Besides, experts as they are maybe what they say are really good techniques.

Oh I'm sure they have other methods as well.
I'd ask what the best use of my last $500 would be.
I'd ask what whether I should focus on article submission or a PPC campaign.
It is a tricky one, because I get the impression that most effective marketing is about time more than low-cost. But I understand why you've asked.
I'm not a marketer, so treat my comments with more than a pinch of sale. :)

To that low cost marketing expert, probably I would ask what is that marketing strategy applicable to online business which is the lowest in terms of cost.

I would ask them to change their "Low Cost" title to "Lucky" or "Right Place, Right Time" makreting expert...
:-)
hehehe.. low cost marketing expert.. seems to me that he used to be the guy who was once known as the free marketing expert who had to raise his "price' and change his title after all, all he was doing was selling something "free" and getting his ip addy banned from forums..
With the internet, marketing is free.. or at least the info to do it.. I would put any well made/designed site against any PPC .. why pay to be on the first page, when it can just happen.. with the right SEO. I have a customer who uses the big 3 PPC and have another related site that I designed.. guess which one does better??? The PPC come in handy in the early days when your newer site has yet to indexed by the search engine spiders.. But it is a very expensive and often abused program.. Pay for clicks and that never equal what the log file shows as vistors.. Always nice to see the same user show up 50 times for 1 second only on certain landing pages, only to never navigate away from it.. Thanks for the Clicks.. I provide the content and the products, now I pay PPC companies NOT to put my site up for the content value, but because I want more traffic.. If the googles, MSNs, yahoo/overtures of the world continue to profit as they have with the PPC, you are going to see the market shift from content relevent to whoever is paying the most for those so-called customer links search engines..
Ask the low cost marketing guy his last 3 jobs outside of of what he does now.. I bet either car sales, vacuum sales(oops cleaning systems), or another of those honest livings type..
Hehehe
