I built a APP, 100+ cocktail professional recipes for free ! Rate my site :)
Happy Friday, everyone!
With the weekend just hours away, I wanted to share a project I've been pouring my heart into, designed specifically for moments like this.
We've all been there: you want to make a classic Old Fashioned or Margarita, so you google a recipe and end up on a slow, ad-ridden blog with a 10-page backstory on their trip to Mexico.
So, I built the solution: The Cocktail PWA
Link: https://rohitpatil.com/cocktail/
This isn't just another recipe website. It?s a Progressive Web App (PWA).
What does that mean for you?
- It's an App, Without the App Store: Visit the site on your phone, and you get a gorgeous, full-screen, app-like experience. No installation needed.
- Insanely Fast & Clean: No ads, no pop-ups, no fluff. Just 100+ classic cocktail recipes, straight to the point. Search and filter by ingredient in milliseconds.
- Installable: Love it? A single tap lets you "Add to Home Screen," and it sits on your phone like a native app for instant access.
- Works Offline: Once you've visited, the core app and recipes are cached, so you'll have access even when you don?t have a proper network connection.
- Desktop Friendly: On your computer, it's a clean, fast, and easy-to-navigate website.
This is for the professional bartender looking for a quick reference, and for anyone who just wants to make a damn good drink this weekend without the hassle.
The Ask (Why I'm Here):
I'm aiming to make this the go-to pocket resource for classic cocktails and make it into a paid app, and I'd be incredibly grateful for your feedback and in return you get to keep this for free.
- How does the mobile PWA experience feel to you? Is it snappy?
- What do you think of the overall design and user experience?
- Try the "Add to Home Screen" feature on your phone! How was the process?
- Any bugs or recipes you think are missing?
Go find your new favourite drink for the weekend! Let me know what you're mixing.
Cheers
