NSCommerce or Volusion?

I'm looking for a hosted ecom solution. Must have's are Quickbooks integration, very customizable templates and good inventory control.

Does anyone have firsthand experience with either? I'd love a pros/cons if possible. Thanks.

I've worked with Volusion for nearly 4 years now. Very intuitive and easy to use. However, the V5 templates are not quite as customizable as V4 was. You can check with the people on their forum and learn lots of neat tricks.

Yeah, you have to be a customer to get on the forums. If those are very active, that's a big plus in my book. I've always had better success with user forums than tech support.

Their forum is VERY active.

Volusion seems OK, but i have heard good things about bigcommerce, they offer a free trial on their website. Check them out.

The biggest downside I experienced with Volusion was you cannot customize checkout pages which makes it impossible to optimize your checkout process. This may not be a big deal out the gate when you are starting up; however, down the road when you have traffic it becomes a concern.
