You cover a lot of different topics... you must be a genius ;-)

Not much to say about your site seen design issues, since it bases upon a template.

I would try to give such a website a unique face, otherwise it's just like hundreds of others.

Also you may wish to use a different TLD to give your service a more reputable touch. Guess you don't belong to the Cocos Islands and also have no affiliation with the "free domain" provider at co.cc ?

    Jugad,

    Who is Nick?

I checked about a dozen articles and Nick is the listed author of all of them. He must be one busy guy.

And as Marc said, he "must be a genius "

What I miss, not just here on this website we discuss, but in general, are articles with more depth and a true advantage to the reader.

Such "common" articles are nice for SEO, but they are not really useful. In regard to the article http://latestarticles.co.cc/getting-...money-on-ebay/ for example, yes I know that I can make money on eBay (and lose it). But I also knew this before reading that there. Maybe I'm a genius, too ;-)

An other example: Some weeks ago I tried to find a step-by-step guide for configuring a special feature of a Cisco router and found some articles on TechRepublic. All had in common to just shortly describe the topic and then end with "Mr. X is a professional network consultant for businesses, contact him at [email protected]...".

    @The Old Sarge:

I hope you realize that reading this article was a challenge for a Vegetarian and active animal rights activist like me... well, the only application I see for such a knife would be to kill soy beans ;-)

Okay, here is my analysis of this article:

This is a typical SEO article with strong keywords usage; "knife", "hunting" and other terms of the hunting jargon are here and there in almost every sentence. Guess that also "small game" and "big game" are belonging to this category.

Although this is obvious, the article is nice to read even for a human, which is very important since the top priority when writing articles should be to have people in mind wanting to learn more about a certain topic.

The author has tried to involve the reader by asking questions, especially within the introduction of the text ("Can't you gut ... with the same knife you'll use to skin it?", "You want a mount, don't you?") to arouse interest in reading till the end.

Furthermore the article is (in contrast to it's topic ;-) written lively by using metaphors and some irony ("Kind of like one of those fancy letter openers", "You don't want to use a sledge hammer to drive finish nails"). Another method to keep people in line reading.

On the other hand, especially working with metaphors is something that needs to be used with care on SEO articles (a search engine usually does not understand the picture behind and may wonder about what a letter opener has in common with a sledge hammer or an elk). Anyway, since the article is not full of such pictures, it's good as it is. Satisfying the human reader has priority.

Finally the article is a bit too common in my mind, especially since it leaves its own fundamental question unanswered:

Does this mean you'll need to carry three, four, five knives every time you set out from camp? Of course not. With one well-designed, well-made knife, maybe two, you can accomplish any of those tasks.
So where is this super-wonder-special-hyper knife which I can use to kill any living thing easily with fun ? It must be there, since the author claims that I don't need dozens of different knifes, but one well-designed. And as a reader I would expect to get two or three recommendations for real products, ideally within different price ranges.

Summarized: While the article is convenient to read and powerfully written, it provides just a general market overview. So as a prospective buyer looking for information about hunting knifes, it hasn't helped much.

    Holy cow, marc!!

THAT'S a review. Very useful and on point. One of the very best I've seen ... ever. You point out some things I’d never considered. Thank you!

Can I count on your to critique all my articles?

If you're not overly offended as a vegetarian and animal rights activist, then as a meat-eater and hunter, I'll not be overly offended by your vegetarianism.

Thanks :-) That's (sometimes) my paid job... as a freelancer (or "Internet consultant", which sounds much more important ;-) you must be flexible...

Well, that's a relief. And I feared you would kill me for that ;-)
