    welcome to rate my site

Hello, everyone, I am a new comer to this forum. I run an e-commerce website www.chanceol.com. My site is different from other b2b websites because it is RFQ centered. As I really want to make my website a unique one, I need your suggestions on my site. Any valuable suggestion is highly appreciated. I think collective wisdom is a better thing!

    www.chanceol.com thanks

Nice layout, but you missed the meta tags keywords/description, which are essential for (most) search engines.

How about a search box or some category browsing abilities directly on the homepage (considering that such services are not requiring registration) ?

Stock photos like temp_ad_295X133_1_ch.jpg.jpg (right "about" box) appear to me always something like "we don't want to show who we really are, so let's use some nice looking people instead of". Therefore my recommendation is to remove it and either use no staff pic at all or take a photo with your real employees.

I have to agree with Marc's comments above and I would add that if you have an about us link why would you want to waste all that space on your front page with a big box duplicating content. On your other pages such as contact, terms of use, etc you have a box on the right that means nothing and links to nothing. The practice of adding images for no reason other than to take up space or demonstrate the ability to add an image is folly IMO. If it doesn't directly benefit your mission, don't put it on your site. It says to me that this is a template site and that does not bode well for your professionalism.
