Your feedback PLEASE- 2 minutes of your time?
Hi there. I'm hoping some of you will take the time to give me your input...
my dilemma... my partners and I have spent the last 6 months building what we think is a great product for small, online merchants. Basically you can create automated promotions in minutes to send to existing customers (emails, real-time offers, etc.) The idea is that you can upsell existing customers and convert new one more effectively.
Also, we have a reporting feature, sort of like Google Analytics, but it customized to show different views of your sales trends.
We've tried to make the whole thing really simple to use and really useful. The problem is, now we're talking to sophisticated investors who say small etailers would never use something like this. So, we're trying to decide whether we've got a good idea or a bad one that we should just trash it.
If you can spare 2 minutes to give me your thoughts, we'd be eternally grateful :>. We're in a really frustrating position, trying to decide what to do next.
I've created a quick survey here...http://trendient.wufoo.com/forms/qui...nutes-thank-u/
Any input you can provide (good or bad-- we can take it), would be awesome! Thanks in advance!

Hi mechele, welcome to the forum.
Stereotypically, small businesses are cheap (I mean, frugal). So, you really have to show them something special above and beyond what Google Analytics can do for them for their reporting. For a free tool, Google Analytics is very robust and contains most things a small business would ever need.
As for the 'automated promotions', you really need to spell this out. Off of your quick description, I dont understand how it works. My first impression is that it is a quick and easy way to spam people - not something anyone really wants to buy.
Hope this helps.

like to help, but I gave up after 15 seconds of a blank white page. I'll try again later.

Get a 404 error...
Reading your posting, it appears being something like an automated sales letter creation software that also sends out the written sales letter via e-mail. If so, it could be a nice tool, but without having seen more details, I cannot state more :-)
