Looking for GetEstore.com Store Owners
Hi,
I recently purchased a GetEstore.com online store. It seemed like a great idea at the time to start making money, but now, I am having second thoughts about the integrity of the company.
Firstly, nobody ever responds to my emails. I'm beginning to think that all the emails go into a black hole somewhere.
Secondly, nobody ever picks up the phone. I always get the voicemail greeting, and then I am notified that the voicemail box is full. There doesn't seem to be any way to contact them!
Thirdly, as I become more concerned, I started doing some research online by typing in 'GetEstore scam' on Google, which is something I should have done prior to getting the store. Wowserz, were there a lot of results! There were claims that items are not sent, and checks were not mailed.
Lastly, as I had recently sold a few products on eBay, and when I visited my store to purchase the items, I was shocked to find out that the product I had sold has been marked 'Out of Stock' and 'Discontinued.' I realize that this happens, but with 7 day auctions and 60 day sale periods, how can you predict when a product is no longer available?
I have also made a few sales elsewhere. As I had already purchased the items through the website, I am now concerned that the products will not be shipped. Also, when I made the purchase, my billing address was different from the shipping address (which is what they asked us to do). Later on in the day, I received an email that asked me to fill out a form and fax it back to them along with a copy of my driver's license and credit card to ensure the security of the transaction. After doing so, I emailed them and called them to make sure that they had received the documents and that the orders would be shipped promptly. No response.
For all you GetEstore.com store owners out there, can you verify that this is a legit dropshipping company - that checks are mailed and products are sent? I would like to know, as I'm sure we all would, if I am getting scammed.
Please feel free to reply to this thread or email me directly at [email protected].
Thanks!

This does NOT sound like a reputable company to me. Read here:

I'd get on the phone with your credit card company pronto!

Getestore
If they dont answer your emails or replies now they probably wont answer them later. I would run away as quickly as possible from this company. Whatever store builder you pick is going to be either the reason for the success or failure of your business. If the store doesnt work and you can get help to fix it you will lose customers. And you cannot easily get those customers back. Before choosing a new provider email a few or them with some questions or go onto their live chat, if they respond quickly and throughouly you can usually expect that will always be the case. If they are slow to respond or dont even respond to sales requests I would expect they would do the same after you are a customer.

I have read planty complains on this business opportunity and yet I have to say they are not quite correct! I don't think its right to bad mouth the company just because someone failed to achive their personal goal. I'm an owner of one of the stores purchased from this company and so far I was able to do what I planned - make money.
I don't want to get in arguments with anyone as everybody entitled to their oppinion but take a look at this details and you will see that this opportunity is for real and only one thing stops people from becoming successfull - themselfs!

Backtrack on my post
I have realised that my over joyfull message might cost some people to actually join this company and would like to add to it.
As of Decemeber 2005 I have stopped recommending this opportunity on my site. I have listed all my reasons and data based on which I make my statements, current as well as previous. I have made money with them and for a while it was an easy ride, hence my post before, but then cituation has changed quite drasticly.
Although I do have to say that to my surprise I have made 2 sales last month without any effort on my part. Now only the question left: will I actually get the payment? I have seen this company fail to pay what you have earned based on what they call "fraudelent transaction" or "returned product". All my reqests to confirm it were met with quite a resistance and the answer I got was "do your own sales".
So if anyone considering this "opportunity", please make sure you get your ducks in a row.

Questions on GetEstore.com & Universal Banner Network,Inc.
Need some help if possible. I think I am being ripped off.
Back in Jan. '06 I was contacted by GetEstore from Phoenix, Az and pitched a program to get 20,000 shoppers to my store. I didn't have a store but I was told no problem. I was told about the Advanced level at a cost of $875 for a 6 month fee and would get me 20,000 shoppers and if in 6 months time if I did not double that in sales, I would not have to pay for the second 6 months--it was on them. They were going to set me up and it sure seemed like not a bad deal. I was told that they would send me a packet and I would need to sign the (?) contract/agreement and fax it back to them. They did send me an email to congradulate me on this decision. Three seconds later, (I kid you not, I checked the email time) I received an email from Universal Banner Network, Inc charging me $59.95 for my 'store'. Did not know who these people were or what this was about and checked my bank statement and that fee never went through my account. I did call the Az. number and asked them who UBN and told them about this email and charge and what did they know and they said they didn't know anythng about them and 'don't have anything to do with them.' AND, that I should not be charged anything extra from anyone! Okay. I find that the customer support contact form has UBN's mailing address at the bottom of the page. What's going on?!
Time passes and I never received the paper work or email, or phone calls--nothing. After leaving several messages on the main line I finally get someone and ask for the person that was suppose to be my rep. He is no longer there and I now have his supervisor in charge of my account. He does not know what happened but he will now do all the follow-up. Now same story---going to send packet, etc. This time he says because they screwed up, that my store will be set up within a weeks time. Actually, he said 3-5 days time and it was like 10 days. I'm charged the $875 and it did go through in April. Now, I am under the impression that I am buying a store for this amount with 1730 products and the guarantee of 20,000 shoppers and am still waiting for papers to sign. Okay, still never got anything in the mail and they said they mailed it and so forth. I never signed anything. Tryed to contact my rep again and he's not available but the office manager will now handle all my questions. I was not getting the satisfaction I needed from her and asked to please speak to her supervisor. I was told that would be the owner and he is not available nor does he have a phone number that I can call and SHE handles the problems. I can write but that was it. Now I am getting nervous. I was just informed that what I actually bought was an advertizing package and not a store---but no one told me that up front. I did not go on their site and go into 'setting up your store', so how would I know any different.
I admit its after the fact but I started doing some research on these guys. 'F' rating on the BBB. Owned by UBN in LA and these people tell me that their logo at the bottom of the GetEstore.com is there only because they are using UBN's templates. That's interesting, but they don't know anything about UBN and there are no other main GetEstore.com's out there. Then on ripoffreport.com, there is about 5 pages of not so nice things about them. Reports of not receiving their money for months on end, defective merchandise, very slow delivery and follow up on returns is not to great, unhappy customers and in most cases the individual store owners are stuck holding the bag.
I think they are operating just barely within the law and that is what concerns me the most. Has anyone tried to get their money back? I checked with my bank and they said that since this company did build me a store---even though I never signed anything and thought it was part of the fee I paid, that I most likely can not get my money back.
I have discovered that the store cost you $49.94 a year and $20.00 to set it up---wonder why I was not told that up front? I have found that in the terms of agreement, of which I never received, but is on their site under Acknowledgments--it states "At any time upon request by GetEstore.com, you agree to sign a non-electric version of this Agreement." I hope that is my saving grace.
I don't want to take them down or anything like that, I just want to leave them alone and me----get my money back. Anyone, comments please.

It's been my experience and opinion that buying into "Turnkey" stores that already supply products for you to sell from is a waste of money and time. These types of deals are usually non-cost effective b/c everyone's selling the same products and a middlelman is in between the store owner and the products bumping the prices up even more. The only way to make money online in terms of selling products is either stock them yourself and ship them out or dropship them from a dropship supplier. Either way, you'll need to be a legitimate business to do this.

Getestore.com
GETESTORE.COM IS A SCAM.
I know, I know, it was stupid of me. I was off in dreamland or la-la land, some place else, not reality when I signed up with them believing their line of garb that they would 100% stand behind their members and do everything possible to help me succeed.
From day one I had problems with them.
1.) I tried contacting them concerning the store set up - never heard from them.
2.) I tried contacting them because a page in their items selection wasn't working - never heard from them.
3.) I tried contacting them because I had some shipping questions - never heard from them.
4.) I tried contacting them because my web never worked, read in their FAQ's this could take 48 hours, this went on over a 2 week period or longer - never heard from them.
I tried contacting them about a refund the 1st time - never heard from them.
I filed a complaint with paypal - unfortunately they was unable to help me because it wasn't a shipped good but they did send my complaint to them - still never heard anything from them.
I contacted the Better Business Bureau and I will regret not doing this first for a long, long time. At the time I did not know you could look up the URL to a website. Anyways they have a "F" with the BBB. I filed a complaint with them - still never heard anything but my website magically appeared.
The BBB had some email addresses and phone numbers and names that I did not have, so I contacted ALL of them and guess what - I FINALLY HEARD SOMETHING - but it wasn't what I was hoping for - apparently they did their part by supplying me with a store (and I am still trying to figure that one out seeing as how mine never showed up online untill after I contacted the BBB) and no refund.
Please check out any company you are thinking of signing up with here: http://www.bbb.org and remember you can check url and remember if it sounds to good to be true, it is.

GetEstore fraud?
I am guessing that whatever money I started with, with this group is lost. I was told that papers were coming for me to sign (never showed up and asked twice) and fax back my signature. I have never signed or electronic signed anything to start this program but they do have my money. I did the unthinkable and thought that the information they were (?) sending me would have everything spelled out and that I would make my decision at that time. Anyone know about the people running this that are out of Phoneix, AZ? Or is it a franchise type of thing and groups sell advertizing/store scripts? I have a feeling that I just got took for $895! I will still pursue this matter through my bank as I checked the Terms and find that they ask or 'may' ask for a non-electronic signature. If anyone has additional help, I certainly would appreciate your constructive comments. Thanks.

If there are this many of you, can't you band together and contact a lawyer? Seems to me there ought to be SOME recourse in the legal system. Maybe start here, if you haven't already

GetEstore update
Update: I find out today that the company I paid my $875 to is eCommerce Business Services and they have nothing to do with GetEstore, except they built my e-store with them. So I thought my whole package was with GetEstore as that is where "my store" is and that is who I did my research on & of course find all the negative things. I was never directed to this ecommerce business services site to check policies, etc. Interesting.
I researched this business and on their site: www.ecomm-business-services.com they sell domanin names and build websites. I did not find anywhere that they sold advertizing packages. I spoke with Monique who is the manager and of course got told all sorts of things they said I agreed to etc, etc. and when asked to speak to her supervisior was told the owner Mr. August Tsutsumi was the owner of the company she represented and the actual owner of my store since they built it, and her supervisor and of course he is never in the office or very rarely, so there is no one else to speak to.
Still have never received any papers to sign nor have I signed anything electronic. I don't want to repeat what was in my earlier post, but now have filed a dispute through my bank on these folks and on netcheck.com---they're are members there with different names and phone numbers, etc. Will see what happens. Just a warning to you all out there, you might want to be careful with these people as well.

GetEstore.com
I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU, to all of you who posted here about your experiences with this supposed business opp.! I was seriously thinking about joining, because it didn't really seem like a lot of money for the yearly set-up, and the name brand merchandise looked really nice, so it looked like as long as you advertised, you'd probably do pretty good with minimal effort! However, after reading all of your posts, I wouldn't want to even consider it now, and I've wiped them out of my "favorites" site.
I really wish there were more legitimate homebased business opp. out there!
May God Bless You All!
