    Website Help!

I would appreciate any feedback anyone can give me on the design and content of my website. The website is not built to accept orders. Eventually, I would like to sell my products via the internet. The hard part is knowing the best way to go about this. I am looking for guidance on an e-commerce solution.

Who built the site you have? It looks fine to me. Why no shopping cart?

I have thought about opening an ebay store. Just haven't done my homework on it yet. I have been debating whether or not to make an active PDF for potential cutomers to use when ordering products or to go through the neccessary steps to create an online store. I use contribute to manage content and I am pretty sure I can build something myself that might work. It has a feature that works with ebay. Any thoughts or opinions for a beginner?

To answer the second post. I have the basic tracking that comes with my web hosting site. Haven't checked it out yet since I have only been with my new web host for 1 day. Any good insight as to how to maximize my use out of this feature?

Could someone point me in the right direction for making a feature that allows visitors to my site to enter info that will allow them to send their email address and name to me so I can get back to them?

Any help answering my questions would be greatly appreciated.

Nice Site, but I've got some pointers...

Hey, that is a really good looking site and I like your product line. However, imagine my horror when I clicked on "order" and my adobe popped open showing some order form that I was supposed to print out, fill in, use a stamp and send to your company.

That will never do, trust me. Especially not for a fitness site geared to selling to younger people. Print-out order forms are for "older folks" who are afraid their identity will get stolen when they type it online. And even worse adobe replaced your site, so an unexperienced user wouldn't even know how to go back!

This is what you should do for a quick fix, did you know that PayPal has a merchant solution where they will allow all of your customers, whether they are paypal members or not, to pay with most credit cards? Yeah, they help you build little html buttons that you plug into your site, they are encrypted and tell paypal exactly how much to charge the person clicking through and what it is. If you want to see an example of one just check out one of the categories on my site, make sure you go to the post section and then click one of the categories, the domain is www.lazycity.com. Actually this will take you straight there, www.postads.lazycity.com.

After payment PayPal will notify you by email and then redirect them back to your site to the page of your choice where you will have the online order form. On this part you will have to do your homework, b/c you need to be able to take all their information and have them auto-email it to your inbox so that you can process the order, right? Try www.hotscripts.com, they have alot of good info on that type of stuff.

Good luck, the email thing is a little tricky but you'll figure it out I'm sure. Worst case scenario you could pay a site to run an email script for you on the payment confirmation page and just have the people fill it in that way, it's not really that much.
