hey all i am new here. i am about to set up an online store for luxury products and was hoping someone here could tell me what they think would be the very best script for an online store (shopping cart). preferably, i would like to download and install a free trial, but there are so many to choose from!! i just thought i would stop by this forum and get a professional opinion. Thanks!!!

CS-Cart is my choice and you will probably get other opinions.

I prefer zeuscart which is the best shopping cart software and it supports many features and it is licensed under free GPL.

We have a one-click installation of osCommerce, Zen-Cart and others that is includes with hosting. If you are a little html challenged, you may want to check out our own Shopping Cart, Quick Cart.

There are good carts out there such as zen-cart and oscommerce that are free forever. We have them in our system where you can easily install the cart with a single click. If you would like a free trial of our Quick Shopping Cart drop me a line

With these two free systems,zeuscart and fastcommerce, do they host the cart and if so can you link them to and existing web site. I assume you need to open a merchant account for the credit cards as well as the option to use paypal?

I have used ecommerce. It is a free of charge download but it will take a few programming skill to really make it in working condition. This assumes that you have your own server or at least access a domain host that lets you install your own custom software.
