How do you import products from your suppliers?

How do you import products from your suppliers?
I have around 10k products, and images to be resized - what tool can be used for this task? Need advice from expirienced mates.

I use Photoshop to batch process images and if you have tons of images you'll want to optimize them for your page load times.

Most of my product descriptions are coded the old fashioned way. I copy/paste them and format through my cart's back end. I don't know of any quick and easy way to do it and it's a good way to get to know your product line for those times when a customer calls for more information.

We use the import wizard inside Interprise Suite eCommerce along with an image renaming utility that we developed.

Short answer is that you are liable for all importation taxation and expenses - I have never heard of a shipper paying the importation costs of the buyer.
