    Article submission software

What are your thoughts on using software to submit articles to multiple article directories. The software promoters lead you to believe it is the best thing since sliced bread. Do you get in trouble with the search engines by submitting one article to hundreds of directories?

I would really like to hear from those who are using the software or have used it. Has it helped? Any problems?

It really depends on where you post and why. You can use the well-known Press Release article distributors safely - but they charge. I used PRWeb for some press releases and got picked up and featured on Yahoo.

My biggest issue is that they are nearly impossible to track. I am never sure if the article generated any sales.

I think it is not well to submit a same article to so many sites, you'd better amend it..

Personally, I think it's far better to submit articles to only a few really good article directories. Too many of the not-so-good ones are just link famrs and some of them use your articles for their own purposes.

I can recommend a couple very good article directories that we have used with very good results, but I won't do it in the open forum. If you want, PM me.

They do help save a little time as they make the manual process somewhat semi-manual. If you just submit to the top 30 or so article directories manually, you should be fine.

No, it's not difficult to track results if you use articles submission company. You know the easy way you do it? Simply enter EACH of the keywords you submitted for the submission into the address browser of google, yahoo, etc. If you made certain pages in those search engines, they'll show up.

Old Sarge, I'll appreciate it. Would you please send me also the list of those articles submission companies you've used which you say are good? Please include some info. on what makes you say they are good, and the kind of results you got from their service.

    Thanks.

I would really consider using article submission software. I like Article Announcer by Jason Potash. If you don't want to use an article submission software, just focus your attention on the "TOP 5" article directories. Truly, this is all you need to do. The top 5 are...

    1.) EzineArticles.com

    2.) ***********.com

    3.) **********.com

    4.) ArticleBase.com

    5.) ArticleDashBoard.com

    ----

I'm also going to say SelfGrowth.com. Now, these sites are not in any right order. But, just focusing your attention on the top 5 is better than joining dozens of article directories... to time consuming! I hope this helps!!!!

    eBiz,

They are most likely not showing up because someone from that domain has spammed the forum in the past and it (the domain), along with the spammer, has been banned.

    Hi,

The age of traditional article marketing is dead and carpet bombing every last article directory won't get you anywhere anymore, so don't waste your efforts on it. What you need to do is write genuinely informative pieces and then hand-pick one place to publish it. And it needs to be the right place, otherwise you've just wasted your efforts again.
Basically, these days article marketing/promotion will only work if you can produce well-written, expert content, otherwise you could do more harm than good. So do yourself a favour and stay away from article submission software altogether, produce good stuff and then submit it by hand.

I'd be particular about whom I send my traffic to and vice versa. I rather submit my site to quality directories and link sites that link farms full of junk. Junk will only attract junk to your website and you won't go anywhere.

    hi.

well, there's no doubt that writing articles is a GREAT
way to build traffic. Trouble is that with so many article
sites, (see link below for my crib sheet of top sites -
it's being built up by the day!) you really do need a
service or tool to help reduce
the legwork. I've done a lot of research into this and the
four contenders are as follows - (please chip in if you
    know of any others!)

    Article Submission Service

    a) Steve Shaw's "submityourarticle" service which costs
$37 per month for four articles a month ($444 a year)

    b) Article Marketer at $39.95 a quarter ($159.80 a year)

    Article Submission Software

    c) Jason Potash's Article Announcer which costs $379 +
shipping with a 90 day money back refund guarantee

    d) Ken Nadreau and Hubert Daul's Article Submitter Pro at
$167 with a 60 day money back guarantee. Details at

[Affiliate link deleted. Allan Gardyne, Admin.]

Of these Article Submitter Pro seemed the best value by far
    and that price includes
lifetime updates. See the resource box below for links.

I've been using it extensively, and it submits to around
130 article sites and 25 email groups. You can add your own
sites and email groups very easily.

I particularly like the way that Ken and Hubert, the
authors, seem to be online virtually 24/7 and answer any
    email queries almost immediately.

The software's quite fresh to the market but I know Ken
and Hubert are working flat out on further enhancements for
example a) a backup and restore function, b) further
flexibility to let you submit articles in different names,
and c) different email address to give you an an infinite
number of variations to any given article submission.

I hope this helps. I look forward to writing a more
complete review of Article Submitter Pro when time allows.

If you visit the website you can download a fully
functional 3 day trial copy of Article Submitter Pro.

With a 60 day money back guarantee it's worth a look,
particularly as it's so much less expensive than the
    competition.
