It is not possible to write a good business plan based entirely on any template, or following a wizard. The document is very individual.

I've written successful BPs which are heavily illustrated, because the technology being presented was so new that only pictures would explain it to a venture capitalist/investment banker. Others have loads of financial spreadsheets and summaries, because that is what those viewers needed. Some have been 10 pages and others over 50.

My best recommendation is to study successful plans of other ventures in the same industry as yours. Make allowance for changing fashions - what was great three years ago can look dated today.
