Feedback on Proxy auctions site from Japan

I have been a regular and almost daily reader of this site. I just upgraded our site structure and we assume its alot more improvement on the older project. The site was updated after alot of reading on redesign here and there. The latest was here on this site titled mid life crisis. Got everything done through professionals...there are two major sections for our site.

1. Yahoo Japan Auctions and 2. Japanese car auctions

We tried to integrate everything into a single site to capitalize on our yahoo japan auctions traffic. The site is still on the developers site but will be completed in about 2 weeks time.

Any feedback for structure/SEO/Design would be very much appreciated. Here is the link

Found within the pages: "One of our customers called this as a FINDER FEE and another one called it an extortion fee."

I appreciate and like the brutal honesty in your pages.

I have to be perfectly honest. It took me far too long to realize WHAT exactly your company does. I'd go with a very crisp and clear single sentence on the main page that tells people exactly what you do. My ASSUMPTION is that you broker the purchase of items from auctions and other venues in Japan for international buyers. (?) I can only say assumption, not that I know for 100% sure after spending about 10 minutes on your site. I should be able to say immediately upon completion of the site loading exactly what you do. Needs some clarity.

The site layout looks decent - a bit too much text to try and get through on the main page however. Some of the sections on the right-hand side (Yahoo Japan Auctions, Cars & Motorcycles, and Shopping Services) could be switched out to a nice little image with a very relevant sentence description - then let your visitors click to learn that detailed info. So much text makes it difficult to figure out where to start reading.

Definitely get rid of the "content awaited" site sections. If you don't have content for a section, don't put in navigational links until the section is populated with content.

Nice, clean pages. Just too much text on the main page that would be better suited to "click for more info" type links.

Cheers!
Vangie

Doing exactly what you said!!

Vbeal,
Thanks very much for taking the time to review the site. I am not sure if its a coincidence or was it my gut feeling that I talked to the developer a few hours earlier about adding some pictures to the site. The contents are still all mixed up. I have a feeling that I put the site a little earlier for review than I should have. Most of the contents will be moved to the site this weekend. Its a little wordy and I will work on this part of site. This is what I needed to be told about the missing points since I was unable to see it from my angle. I am sure comments would go a long way. Thanks again for your helpful comments.
