Server Firewall Options

I am about to upgrade my current network server from NT to MS Sm. Business Server 2003 Premium. We presently have a SOHO Firewall that was added to the system several years ago. We do access the internet quite often for e-mail and general use which is really about it. I am just wanting to simplify what we have, but still provide sufficient security as well at the same time. If by upgrading to this newer software, do I need to continue with the SOHO Firewall, or is the security/firewall capabilities provided in the software alone sufficient?

(I did not originally setup the current server. I know PCs, but am somewhat new to the "server world")

thanks!

Smile Small biz firewalls

As long as your current firewall is doing a good job for you, leaving it up will be a good complement to the ISA Server software firewall that is part of Small Business Server 2003 Premium Edition. Two other things that you may want to consider are anti-virus software and back-up software, which will complete the task of keeping your business safe and secure. Hope this helps...
