One typo on one of the web copy tips "Introductory text on Web
    pages iis usually too long,
    so users skip it."

Otherwise, nice format, good organization and lots of good tips.

A well-designed website with not much to criticize :-)

You may, however, check your meta tag "keywords" - this must be a comma separated list.

    Hi marc77,

    Thanks for the feedback!

Speaking of 'keywords meta tags', I was speaking to a Usability/SEO colleague today who suggested that the 'keyword tag' holds little if any weight. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts.

It does hold little weight with Google, but other search engines still look at them. I just recently updated the keywords on my websites and saw an large jump in hits within a week. I wouldn't spend an huge amount of time on them but that doesn't mean you can neglect them either.

An excellent site, one of the best I've seen on here. From the look, to the load speed, to the coding itself, top shelf.

Sure, in former times the keywords tags was more recognized by search engine than it is today. However I find it important to have for two reasons:

    1. There are still some search engines that use it; and you'll find no official statement from a search engine how they rate sites. So nobody knows it for sure.

    2. I also consider the keywords tag as a personal reminder for me when writing new text blocks - the words used in this tag are important to the particular site and therefore they must be present in the content as well.

FYI, I've been using your site as an example of what a well-done website should look like.

    Hey J,

I was wondering where all that new traffic was coming from. I'm going to have to put you on the payroll
