Need to sell one item online, any e-commerce and/or hosting advice?

Hi everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to assist me--while eager to learn, I am very new at this. I am attempting to set up a small-scale student-run business that sells only 1 item very much like a similar student-run business (beardiscounts.com) which also sells just 1 item: discount cards to students.

Do you have any suggestions for an INEXPENSIVE e-commerce web host that would provide this along with basic web design.

For only selling 1 item, what should I expect to pay per month for hosting and e-commerce costs?

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you are only selling one item, it should be very inexpencive, you wouldnt even have to set up a store. Set up a site and go to pay pal, for free you can set up an account and make a buy now button and your all set. You can go with the cheapest hosting. I charge my clients per year for hosting but see what your hosting company will do. your monthly hosting shoulnt cost you much at all
