i can answer both of your questions here. no need for two postings,

in general i like the clean simpleness of the look of the site, although a bit too much white, it leaves a lot of space and looks sparce.

on the top bar you have search, then a blank space, then the search button, it looks confusing to be the search bar, can you make the blank space more obviouse to be the spot to type in the search phrase or word.

do you have any shipping offers? that can fill some of the white space,

your picture boxes dont seem to line up properlythe bottom line of the picture box is below the rest of the box for the description,

as for marketing, you can make sure your site has keywords, on the front page have a paragraph telling about your store and why somone should by from you.

make sure you have meta tags on your pages and good descriptions of products.

you can do google adwords and blogging or write some articles.
