Paypal for international transactions.
Hello we currently do Ecommerce business using Payflo pro gate way for all of credit card transactions. I would like to extend the service area to include Europe, Japan, Australia, South America and some Arab states.
I was curious if anyone was using paypal service for international transactions and how it works?
I would like to use this service as I do not need any additional payment gateways to do any currency conversions.
Thank You

I'm using PayPal button in my blog and have setup several eCommerce sites using PayPal in UK. If PayPal supports your country then there won't be any problems. However PayPal fees are much higher than your own merchant account. There is also NoCheck which are little bit lower than PayPal.

Not just that PayPal fees are higher, I even would say that are simply grew too fast in the past and therefore have huge problems in support.
I spoke with some small businesses having implemented PayPal (because they saw no other chance to accept credit cards otherwise) and they all were disappointed because of the service.
Also carefully read the contract and policies - PayPal has very strict rules for business owners and merchants which finally you may not find acceptable (customer has many rights, including to initiate a chargeback weeks after a transaction has been completed).
Anyway, there are surely business owners satisfied with PayPal and I can only speak for the German department of PayPal. So all in all, read the contract, all terms and conditions and then decide of your own.

I'm using Paypal as my primary payment processor on Internet now. Why i need use Paypal rather the E0Gold or another payment Processor? The point is Paypal accepted Credit Card. I can withdraw my money any time. Another thing is Paypal is more security and quit stable than other.

Marc - It's not just Germany where PayPal's support falls short. I would have laughed if it were not so irritating. PayPal sent me a survey based on a problem I had submitted to support. The main thing they wanted to know was if the problem had been resolved to my satisfaction....WELL, I told them "no" since no one had ever contacted me regarding the problem. I restated the problem and gave the lowest possible marks across the whole survey. Guess what? This was a month ago and I still have not been contacted about the problem.
