Import database
I need instruction on how to import a suppliers product database to Excel.
Thanks

What kind of database? SQL? Need more information.

Thanks for the reply. I am told that the database is either a CSV or txt.delimited file.

Most suppliers will provide a database in xml format which can be converted to comma deliminated (csv) suitable for opening in Excel. In order to help you further, I will need more information that previously provided.

You need to hire someone that knows excel. Should be easy, maybe a high school student. They will have to convert the supplier's data file to one you can import into whatever system you are using. If you get a computer person, they can write a program to convert it. You could also learn excel yourself.

I didn't even know it was possible.

A database project is the offline representation of your database and the mechanism by which you manage changes to your database. Database 2010 lets you import data into your databases from conventional CSV files or from files containing XML data to create new tables or update existing tables in your database.
