Question eCommerce startup - business directory

Hello,

I'm willing to start an ecommerce bussiness, I want to sell RC toys all around the world. The thing is that my budget for developing a custom ecommerce platform is tight...
The day before I came across this website http://www.Bizoo.co.uk which is a free business directory and they also allow you to sell you products online ( in 5 minutes they say) for a small fee, depending on how many products you have.

I just want to ask you guys is anyone around here tried this website and what does it think? Is it any good?

Looking forward to your reply,

Andrew

It looks flaky to me. You get what you pay for (or a little less than you pay for). What is their track record? Honestly I would stay away from this. Why wouldn't you want control of your own store. If you have the product, get the least expensive good host you can find and start with an OsCommerce or a ZenCart store. They're free and you can learn about the business instead of turning it over to someone who has no interest in your success other than a monthly payment.

I agree with roban. Find a host that supports OsCommerce or ZenCart -- I prefer Zen Cart. Some hosts have site-builders for ecommerce also. Let me know if you have any other questions.
