Revamping My Network

Hello all I am a newbie and have some question on how to setup a new network for our midsize business and bring my company into the new age. currently we have 30 computers running windows 98 we use dial up capabilitys to transfer information this is all over 6 states these 30 computers are....Do I setup with a T1 or what ...Do i use a VPN .....what is the best thing to do ?

In order to accurately asnwer your request, I have a couple questions. Are these 30 computers located througout the country? or are they all within a central office and send information out to other locations?

Do you have a central office location that you want to use as a "Control" location that would manage the transfer of files?

They are located some within the central office and the rest in 6 different states
