    which is the best?corncart,oscommerce,zencart,xcart,etc,all of them are ecommerce software.

    You're mixing apples with oranges here. Some are free and XCart is not. Please provide more information about what you want. if you want free I would go with Cube Cart version3 and paid i would choose CS-Cart. There are subjective and other folks will have different opinions.

    If you are looking for open source ecommerce then look at magento ecommerce solution pretty solid and has lots of features, however its an open source that means you shld be able to manage it in terms of IT.

    If you are looking to purchase then take a look at AspDotNet Storefront which is on .Net framework and Volusion .. again it really depends what features are you looking for and how you are going to market your website for attracting traffic etc etc...
