Email autoreponder Routing Problem
Hi there,
I have several info@ accounts for my business - which in turn forward to my collegues in the office.
problem is, when one of them is away and they put on their "out of office" autoresponder, the potential CLIENT gets the autoresponder email - which is not good as they assume no one can answer their email, when in fact there are several of my collagues that are avilable to answer the email.
The info@ forwarder currently send to 4 receipients.
I have tried adding another "layer" to the process e.g:
info@ --> office@ --> recipient 1, 2, 3, 4
But it just follows the same path and the client gets the same autoresponder message.
can anyone help?
My server uses cpanel.

As far as I can see, you cannot accomplish what you want to do. Right now, [email protected] goes to [email protected] and [email protected]. [email protected] has an auto-responder set up so that when an email is received, an auto-responder is generated.
Now, if you had Outlook, you might be able to set up a rule that says if sent to only his email address, an auto-responder could be generated. And since we would be getting [email protected], an auto-responder would not be sent. Of course, this would require Outlook to be one. Exchange might be able to do this, but you probably don't have that since you mentioned cPanel.
Have you thought about sending an auto-responder out when received at [email protected]? Of course this might be confusing for the customer, but it is another way
