    costs of shipping

    Hello

tell me, if i want to import from country to another country, how can i decrease the shipping costs?
because sometimes, when you import products, the shipping cost you more then the product.

Several aspects you may have to consider :-

    1. Urgency of the shipment. Of course it will be very expensive by AIR instead of other mode of shipments.

    2. If by SEA, LCL or FCL?

    3. Bargain with other forwarders and look for the best deal.

    4. Absorb by customer.

    Additional input :-

    1. Can these items be localized
    2. Look for other alternatives
    3. Purchase larger volume if the unit cost is low

Importing goods through ships would cost less than flights. You can get in touch with a local broker, who takes care of the packing, loading, paperwork, import duties, and other related things. These brokers are actually subcontractors of origin agent (the country from which the goods are coming) or destination agent (the country where you are receiving the goods). The reliable brokers give you in writing about the terms and conditions and total shipping cost. They also take care of the insurance part. Taking help of a professional shipping company can result in less cost.
