    Why SEO people cannot read?

Im running a free directory at http://www.topwebcat.com and currently available only accept few percent of submissions.
    Most common mistakes:
    1. I have asked to give a descriptive Title for your website. Why people put their URL or name to that field? And some john.smith is trying each day to get his site listed!!!
    2. I have a special category for computer games in Entertaiment and Fashion section. Even I have notified in Computers and Technology section that Computer games are not belonging here, tens of people each day still trying to get their site listed in that section!!!
    3. And now it has become more idiotic. Some guy asks me to put hundreds of links for Lawers and Attorney each day to main Business category even there is special category on those and I have notified in submission form that only general business sites are belonging here!!! First time I changed the category for his links; now this guy spents full day to submit those to wrong category and Im nearly an hour to reject those. This has gone now several weeks so this guy must be an idiot!!!
If I would have possibility, I would just restrict his IP adress but my hosting provider doesnt give me this luxury.
Are SEO specialists nowadays blind or cant speak simple english?

The probability is that some of them are spam bots. This is a subject on which I have become an expert, regrettably.

Can you exclude his IP by editing .htaccess?

I think that people has not much awareness about this task.
You know the people working for SEO companies don,t know what they are doing.

LOL. Those are funny according to me. But i think the people don't have enough time to search for proper category and that's why they just put their site in main category.

The website is gone! But yes, maybe they are bots. Or maybe some is desparate enough to spam your site. Exclude them right away. Please do not blame all SEO as a category. There are a few that I have seen even in the IT industry who force people to write comments and do all this non-sense from the juniors. They simply do not grow up!

The new Google Update is going to be looking at spam sites and back links to them very carefully. Focus on leaving good back links. Many sites will get punished soon.

Ditto... Links to Income Tax sites that are posted on a business site is a good example of what not to do
