    Splitting SEO/SEM

The sections for SEO/SEM should really be seperate. These topics cover two totally different areas that require two totally different methods of execution and serve two totally different functions. This distinction is needed to all who are learning e-commerce and looking for advice.

I appreciate the perspective, but the two topics don't get enough questions to merit their own forum.

Pity. Oh well. Hopefully this forum will grow popularity in the industry/web. I've seen plenty of quality postings, friendly feedback, and a general pursuit to educate since I found it a few days ago. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, it's good to hear, and that's what we're hoping. It's grown a fair amount in the past two years, but it's slow growth. Steady, but slow.

That would depend on what you are trying to achieve. Are you trying to get ranked for alot of keywords on one page. If so that is not a good idea. You want to get a few highly targeted keywords per page. Also it is not about super long pages of content. It is a combination of content, headers, meta tags and incoming links. You can do searches for seo and find alot of good free info.
