    no follow links

If I use nofollow tag pointing to low authority sites, will it affect my website in terms of SEO?

A No Follow tag is a way that allows webmasters to tell search engines “Don't follow links on this page" or "Don't follow this specific link." A link can have one or more rel attributes, where “rel” is short for “relationship”. These attributes help define the relationship a link has with a page that it points to.

In technical term, the nofollow link means: Do not follow this link no matter what it the link.

Nofollow links can be useful if it drives the traffic to your websites. Still having some nofollow links are useful.

It is better to use “nofollow” and “noindex” because having nofollow links still affect your SEO and website ranking.
