Although the Magento 1 support isn’t going to end anytime soon, it is still important to consider Magento 2. Here’s why:

    - There will be no innovation with Magento 1. For better support solutions, you must move to Magento 2.
    - The technology and innovation used in Magento 2 are world-class providing better speed, security, performance.
Most of the E-commerce stores have already started migrating to Magento 2

If you are looking for the easy way to migrate eCommerce data from Magento 1 to Magento 2, I can advise you to use sort of the automated migration tool, e.g Magento 1 to Magento 2 tool of Next-Cart.

You have no need to be tech-savvy to perform migration, it is easy - just few clicks and in few hours you’re a lucky owner of Magento store.

You can find the list of all the transferable entities there. And they have 24/7 support if you have additional questions about data migration.
Hope this will be handy. Good luck!

There are many reasons to go from magento1 to Magento2 which-
    1. The percentage of debugging was higher in magento1. Whereas Magento2 has been made largely debug free.
    2. The payment security of Magento2 is very high which was not in the old version.
    3. Magento2 is faster compare than old version.

Magento’s market share is growing in many key markets. – Magento is long sought after as a leading e-commerce platform across the world. Many large e-commerce players leveraged on it take off their business. There are two reasons for this level of influence Magento enjoys, its community and technical expertise. Below are the key technical reasons to choose Magento 2 or migrate to the latest Magento 2 version.

    Improved caching :
Magento 2 has built-in full caching enabled and the page load has substantially improved.

    Improved customization :

The location of the code related to a module is located in a single directory now. This allows the developer to find a module related code and customize it easily.Magento 2 also uses the PHP package manager and composer to manage the installations of individual modules.

    Support of multiple databases :
Magento 2 today supports multiple databases for orders, products, checkout, etc. This paves way for faster loading websites and allows concurrent admins to update the data without conflict.

    Improved integration capability :

The new API method in Magento 2 is more efficient. The new API allows for retrieving all the data in one call. This provides huge advantage to store owners, as it makes the integration with ERPs less cumbersome.
