Social media sites are very useful for any business. It should be an essential part of every company's marketing plan. I've been using this method along with other marketing tools. I turned to the marketing experts from the thecmoclub.com for assistace in elaborating an effective marketing plan.

Depends on what your business is about and what your objectives are. If you are into fashion accessories, for instance, you could post pictures of your new products on Instagram or Pinterest and gain followers and credibility (which in turn contribute to sales). If you are a restaurant, then you could post daily offers and coupons. There are industries where social media may not help at all.

There's a list, there's another and dozens of similar. The new words appear every day, maybe, every hour. You should look broadly and acquire professional network marketing approach, like that of MLM Training - only then you will be safe and sound as all the work would be done by realest geeks!

Social media is the strongest tool that you can use to give more visibility to your product/brand.
Facebook is quite useful as a product marketing tool even today. Some people say FB does not work anymore, but the truth is that it still does. You can join groups related to your product, and take part in interactions there. You can mention your product there. On FB, you can also give ads.

You can use Twitter also and publish good quality and relevant posts and increase the followers that you have. Having a blog on your website will be very useful from a marketing point of view. Good content will drive people in. You can post these articles on FB.

Once cool way to do it is to use a 3rd party app like Wishpond's Social Sweepstakes that are integrated with Facebook, but run on your website. The Sweepstakes itself runs on a page on your website, but every entrant shares an invite to their friends on Facebook. These invites include links back to the Sweepstakes on your website, where they enter the sweepstakes and are then on your website where they can browse you product.

A growing space for ecommerce retailers to get into are social shopping sites like TheFancy and Wanelo. Here you can post your products, and users can add them to collections, share with friends and click through to purchase on your ecommerce site.

Social media also helps to make people want your brand. If you create the desire properly it can boost your sells very easily.

Social media can help a brand in so many ways that there’s something in it for each and every type of business.

Even if you don’t think that in your particular industry having a “strong social media community” is possible at all, there are still lots of reasons why you must be serious about social media.

Customers are talking about your business online, and sometimes it’s not a positive review you’ve hoped for. They are asking questions, sharing their bad experiences, recommending your competitors. And you must be there to react - help them out, answer their questions, say sorry for any bad experience they’ve had, tell them how you’re different from your competition.

However, if you're like many business owners out there, you're probably facing this very problem: you have your hands busy and think you just don’t have time for another marketing activity,
But what if someone told you social media can take no longer than 30 minutes a day, while letting you increase brand awareness, generate leads, and build brand reputation?

Here’s a very nice post that shows you the simple daily activities that will let you promote your business on social media in 30 minutes a day.

Social media helps since it basically makes your eCommerce more visible to people. Of course there is a catch there: you need to have more contacts so people will notice you. Once you build that base, then it's just a matter of making your site visible. Daily if it has to be. A post a day is enough, unless there is something special you need to announce (markdowns, discounts, sales, etc). Otherwise just one post a day per social media site is enough.
