    Adding Freinds On Facebook

I am sending requests to add you as a friend on Facebook. I currently have 200 Friends. My customer base is a town of 15K. I am Mom and Pop. How many requests to add you as a friend should I send a day? I do not want to be flagged by Facebook.

    Thanks in advance,

It depends on who you send the requests too... If I got more than one a week from someone I don't know very well - I'd be less than happy.

You cannot send requests to people you don't know! thats again soliciting the privacy of people. Why dont you get connected through your friends on facebook?

I am focusing on adding new friends on Facebook for my local income tax business during the off season. I am going to buy an ad in my church bulletin too.

it doesn't matter how many sent, it matters only when you sent request and people accept or not and if people won't accept and declare that they don't know you, the Facebook will first send you a warning notification and if still keep on repeating, it will ban your sending request feature.

I'd be careful about how many people you send friend requests to. Your best bet is to add the people you know, and work on expanding who you actually know. There's a few ways to look at this problem though...

For one, it certainly seems anti-social that people might not like getting add requests from people they don't know. However, not everyone joins a social network to socialize and make new friends, and just enhance how they stay in touch with their existing circles.

Facebook friendship isn't really conducive to business unless they're really your friends. For Facebook, I suggest embracing pages and groups to expand your social circles.

It goes without saying there are other ways to expand besides facebook. LinkedIn is great, as well as Meetup. From my own experience in small towns, business networking groups in those types of areas often let businesses from neighboring communities attend (maybe a county-wide group).

    Cheers!
