At first glance, I like the basic layout but think you have too much white. Maybe a soft but colored background? And too much empty space in the upper left of the main page. Put in a logo.
I'll try to "use" the demo later and give you more.

I'm wondering why somebody would want to do that online, rather than locally on their own computer? Also, I agree with Sarge, there's way too much white and basically nothing much to the page. A better visual impact would create more sense of trust on the part of the user.

First, thank you both for a reply.
1. Too much white disolves a bit, because the main record registry is grey/white. But a soft background color is a great idea, I will have to experiment some with those safe web colors.
2. Sadly, I can't draw myself, so once Ihire a freelancer online ... got it planned and in the works.
3. Doing it online helps, because you can login from any computer, no need to maintain and synchronize few databases. Like entering expenses at home, at work, and in the shop, for example. Various input methods, like online, via mobile phone, and few others planned, make it easy to enter-and-forget. Noone want to keep a bunch of receipts and then find time to submit them all into the system.

OK, I get that. In that event, you're going to need to go to some lengths in order to instill that type of confidence and trust on the part of the user. People are so frightened these days of identity theft and the whole tidal wave of problems that doing any sort of financial activity on the web, exposes one to. The first step would be the appearance and slickness of the site, but I'm unfortunately unable to help with the next step.
Some of our other members here might be able to give better insight as to what sort of certifications or security badges might help in that area.

:) . The first line of privacy and usage terms states: "We do not ask and DO NOT WANT you entering personal information".
WH only ask for a login name and a password, even email address is optional.
And I am against using synchronization with banks, though that'll probably only help me loose users.
Badges is a great idea!
