Getting Out of Service Contracts

How difficult is it to get out of a technical service contract? Our company signed a service contract with a company only to learn their "over hyped" technology is incredibly inferior to our own proprietary technology. We are locked into a 6 month contract with no use for the technology.

Anyone have any experience with this type of thing?

Without reading through the contract you've signed, it is nearly impossible to give a useful advise. Just "Next time, read it carefully before you sign it" ;-)

I think the best way would be to get in touch with an attorney and discuss this more closer.
