Hello,
I am wondering if any of you know where one may find a list of unbiased shopping cart reviews/ratings.
It seems to me that I have found sites like this in the past but I am presently having a difficult time.
Thanks in advance.

How we can know the review is unbiased ?

Well I suppose that there is no way to be absolutely certain but I think that if the reviews appear to be fair an consistent that I would take them at face value.
The site that I saw (that I can no longer find) had users vote and write their own reviews. I would think that this would be better than company x's website saying that their product is good and everyone else's is not so good.

I've included some links below of some websites that I visit sometimes. The eCartReviews compares some shopping carts (they seem to focus mostly on the hosted solutions) but they have a pretty active user community that actually uses the shopping carts.

Anyways, I hope this helps.

One challenge with the cart reviews or even forum posts on reviews is most people have directly used one or maybe two carts....they might have demo'd a few more from time to time...but only experienced or tried to run a site on 1 or 2.
What does that mean? If people like their current site...they will fight to the death about why it is the BEST platform ever :-) That is why on forums you often see the oneliners "i like ABC" "I like XYZ" etc. but since they havent used more carts they can give you more details of why it is better or what issues other platforms have.
so you might find most reviews are biased. but...if you can get specifics from those review sites and no what you want/need/and what skills are needed for that cart you will be fine.

An unbiased opinion concerning shopping cart software is hard to find.
As you review the sites mentioned above, also be sure not to limit yourself with what type of code (programming language) the cart is written in. Just to name a few: HTML, ASP, etc.
Many package deals do have limits but finding one that will grow and expand as you need it to is key.
Be sure to perform due diligence on the carts that seem to meet your needs or you might find out the hard way that it doesn't do what you need it to do in the future when you what to change something.
Also, remember that most anything can be modified - some cheaply, some not so cheaply.
Let us know how it goes for you. GOOD LUCK!:D
