I am a 20 year old, in search of a way to make money to go to college. While doing some research I stumbled upon drop shippers. The problem is I have been researching for numerous hours and I failed to find a legite drop shipper. If anyone has any information it will be greatly apreciated. Thank you in advance.

Instead of running a business why not design Web sites for local companies? After you have your first client and you do a good job your service will spread by word of mouth like fire. By the time your done college you will have a nice side education on Web site design.

Give us a little more information about your project so that we can help you out a bit more. How do you want to sell electronics? Who is your market?

Okay I want to sell these electronics thru Ebay. If I am able to do this, and if I do well, then I would like to open my own online store. I just think before I jump into this I need to learn more about what I'm doing and how I will be doing it.

Well selling on eBay, all you have to figure out is, will you handle the product yourself or use a dropshipper?

The idea was to use a drop shipper but I can't seem to find one. I payed a membership to this website in hopes of finding a good drop shipper but it seems that their suppliers have very high prices. So I'm back to square one.

You are in an unbelievably competitive market so your margin will be very low in order to sell anything. Unless you have a unique product I would look for something less saturated. Finding drop shippers is a matter of searching, searching and more searching. I have been in business for 2 years and I am still finding them.

Drop shipping electronics is very competitive and it's very difficult to find items priced low enough to become comtetitive. Even if you do, you'll have to sell lots of units to make any real money.

Which web site? Membership in what? ... specifically.

Very few businesses advertise their drop shipping except those businesses looking for drop ship dealers.

To find a drop shipper ...

Simply go to your local electronics store and select a product you want to sell.

On the box in which that product is packed, you will find the name and (usually) the address of the manufacturer. If the address isn't on the box, look up the company in any of the major directories of manufacturers.

Contact the manufacturer and simply ASK if they drop ship their products. -- If they do, ASK to be set up as a drop ship dealer.

By the way, MOST companies will drop ship their products because making sales is the nature of their business. -- Simply ignore any company that won't drop ship for you.

I now realize that the electronicts department is not the way to go. At first I thought it might be a good idea but I see that there's just too much competition.I bought a membrship to Salehoo, and did some more research. I went through most of their affiliates and the products they sold. There were many products but the prices were sky high and some of them wanted me to pay more money to join them. It just didn't work out. I ended up canceling my membership. At this time I'm starting to wonder if maybe I should just look for another way earn income. I have always wanted to work for myself beause I know that that's the ony way I will really accomplish my goals. I know this takes time and hard work. So I will continue to research my options. Thank you for your suggestions and time.

Did you give WorldWideBrands a look? Most of the drop shippers listed do not charge "membership fee" and quite a few of them do not charge a "drop ship fee." If you pick and choose, you can find plenty that only charge S&H ... something you'll need to consider no matter which way you go with an online business. ... unless you sell e-books or something else downloadable ...
