wireless internet

Hi, I am totally new to the wireless computer world and I have a quick question. I have 2 desktops and a lap top computer that I have hooked up to Linskys (router and cards)at my home.... my question is.... My favorite restaruant now has wireless access, but I can NOT get my lap top to connect. (At home it is easy??!!!) I know that the lap top recognizes the wireless "thing" (sorry, I don't know all the technical terms) and it says that it has good signal strength.
Please help!

You will need to add another network connection. Your restaurant also should supply you with some security information to access their network.
