Hi everybody!

I`m new one here.
Could you guys give me a hint?
Several months ago we create a Shop on Yahoo!Store platform (www.scanbechshop.com) but made a mistake cos they only work with dollars but we`re Eroupean company and wants make transactions in Euros... So now i`m trying to find something like Yahoo (or may be even better) but with support of Euro payments.

What you can say about Lycos eShop platform?

Hello Ole Solo and welcome.

I don't know much about Lycos or Yahoo stores but what I do know about them does not bode well for them due to their limitations.

I would rather see you looking at other open source or free stores like OScommerce, Cube Cart or Zen. They all support multiple currencies and languages. I just purchased a license for CS Cart and like it very much. I guess it depends also on whether you're comfortable with html and can edit your site. Most have administrative control panels for the basic modular functions so it's not that difficult.

I find it very odd that Yahoo does not support the Euro and wonder if there is a modification somewhere that will add that functionality.

Hi roban!

I`m tring to find all-in-one solution. Something like Yahoo!Merchants Solution.
Yahoo can work with Euro only through PayPal.

Now i`m using ePages eShop. It`s pretty expensive but i like it :)

I am also new here and wondering why you want an all-in solution.. It is expensive and you have a lot of restrictions, so why would you go for that when there are other cheaper and easy solutions?

Basically Yahoo is an electronic payment gateway compatible with the First Data Nashville Platform (partnership with Chase / Paymentech). And Chase / Paymentech primarily supports US merchants. There are some processors that are First Data and will support international merchants if you have a United States bank account, address and phone number, however, all settlement will be in the dollar.

They just recently started with Paypal since they bought Verisign and Verisign is compatible with the First Data platform. I am surprised though that http://uk.yahoo.com/ does not have anything just yet

CRE Loaded (similar to Zen Cart) and VirtueMart (a Content Management System with an osCommerce plug....which can also be done with a Joomla/Mambo platform with a default osCommerce plugin installed) are two more great open source shopping cart solutions.

ALL open source carts have multi currency capabilities...especially if you get the CRE and Zen cart versions. These are osCommerce based sites pre-packaged with the most common or popular contributions already installed.
