Hi All!

My name's Xavier I am new to this ecommerce world, I have a few questions where I live in Costa Rica we have very strict bank regulations that wil allow us to stick to the national banks and won't let us to accept paypal in example...now the hosting options downhere are kind of "limited' in webstore building software, of course the hosting providers do offer ssl, etc etc, but in the worst case I decided to build my webstore to upload it later to the server, can this task be acomplished with let's say front page or i.e. dreamweaver...do I need to know sql?

Thanks much in advance.

Yes you can upload your site to your server with dreamweaver or frontpage. I don't no what type of store you are uploading . But I find there is a lack of products to sell in most stores. Here are a couple of links that can help you with store products and obtainng clients:

You can upload your store through FTP later on when your ready. Then you just go into your hosting control panel and install the SQL database from there.

Hi,

Has anyone used a software like eComm PRO
(http://www.aptrio.com/Internet/Shop-Software/ecomm-pro-9497.html)
to build a Proper working web-store?

The concept of building a web store using this software is so simple,
that its hard to believe that such a store would actually perform well
on the internet.

Also, i think the templates aren't good enough.

If anyone knows an alternative software for such kinds, or alike,
kindly post link.

Thanks,
