Usually counters are not all that great - your web hosting provider should provide free stats as well. Also you can add a counter as well if you can use ASP / PHP on your web site

I agree with Corey, those free counters are real amateur!

You can get stats from your server logs. Sometimes counters show how many people aren't coming to your site...
