My company currently uses Quickbooks Pro 2005 (5 users), and on last friday it reached the 14500 entry limit of quickbooks. Quickbooks Enterprise handles 29000 entries, it would be perfect for the company, however they no longer offer this product in Canada. And the US version of Enterprise would not convert my current Quickboos Pro file. I want to know of the equivalent of Enterprise that other companies offer which would ofcourse be able to handle a large file with over 14500 entries (#customers, vendors, payroll). We have a large number of customers (13500+), we basically deal with the standard accounting stuff, no Ecommerce or online payments. Are there other software out that would convert my quickbooks pro file.

Everest seems a little expensive, my budget is about ($3000-4000). Also I have seen the screenshot of Everest, it does'nt seem user friendly, same goes for MAS 90. How is Microsoft Small Business Financials.

With Microsoft SBF you'll expect to pay around $4,000 per user (this was the price quoted to me by Microsoft).
Can you export the QuickBooks file as XML or flat text? If so you might want to check out Quasar Accounting at http://www.linuxcanada.com. It can handle the volume of data you have and is well within your price range (think hundreds of dollars instead of thousands). It's been around for quite a while so it's very stable.
