Not a bad looking site, however some of your links have a hover state (underline on mouseover) and some don't. I would fix that. As to how it would fare in the US market, I don't see anything about the website itself that would prevent it. One thing I would do is make the site logo a bit bigger, and maybe consider losing the Flash. It's interesting but because of the size I feel it's easily overlooked.
